Bio: Oscar Combs is a well respected quality professional with over 16 years of national and international experience in the quality discipline, working in various capacities of management within the Oil & Gas, Geotechnical Engineering, Non Destructive Testing and Soil Testing industries. His international experience includes working for Nabors International, the largest drilling contractor in the world implementing quality and HSE systems in South America, Europe, The Middle East and Eastern Africa. Oscar specializes in utilizing quality to drive tangible business objectives of organizations. Oscar holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston and has served as President-elect of several boards. Oscar is a Senior Member of ASQ since 2001. Oscar participated with the National ASQ Quality Division on drafting the first of its kind Service Quality Body of Knowledge (SQBOK), specifically for service organizations. Oscar achieved Certified Quality Manager certification in 2003 and is a Certified ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor. He has authored and published various articles regarding quality in the news today.
